Every person should know how to cook, and especially how to cook safely. Everyone has different dietary restrictions, so no one should be afraid to experiment with different recipes, and find the ones that suit them best. There are a few basic ingredients that are always needed in recipes: water, oil, salt, and pepper. Other ingredients, like herbs and spices, can be used to add flavor and also to provide health benefits.
– 1 kg of young jackfruit, cut into pieces, wash clean
– 10 bay leaves
– 3 lbs of lime leaves
– 2 stalks lemongrass, geprek
– 2 segments of galangal, geprek
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
– 150 gr brown sugar, finely comb
– 3 sachets of instant thick coconut milk @ 65 ml
– 1 liter of water
- boiled eggs, to taste.
Ground spices
– 10 cloves of red bw
– 5 cloves of white bw
– 7 candlenuts
– 1 tbsp coriander
How to make
Boil the jackfruit for 10 minutes, to remove the sap. Turn off the fire and drain
– In a bowl, mix the ground spices, coconut milk, sweet soy sauce, brown sugar and jackfruit. Mix well
- in a pressure cooker arrange:
Bay leaves, lime leaves, galangal, and lemongrass on the bottom of the pot. Pour in the jackfruit and seasoning mixture. Add the egg between the jackfruit. Cook with pressure for 45 minutes
- after 45 minutes, turn off the pressure, pour the gudeg filling into the pan. Cook again until the water and warm dry. Taste correction, add brown sugar and salt if necessary (I cook again while stirring for 15 minutes).
