Ingredients

  • • 100 g salted squid
  • • pack of tempeh or just customized
  • • 6 cloves of shallot
  • • 3 cloves of garlic
  • • 10 green chilies curly or customized
  • • 4 pieces of curly red chili or according to taste you can add chili
  • • 1 orange leaf
  • • 2 bay leaves
  • • tsp chicken stock
  • • 1 HR of sweet soy sauce
  • • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • • 100-150 ml of plain water
  • • enough hot water
  • • enough cooking oil
  • • to taste Pete but optional

How to make

  • 1. Soak the salted squid with enough hot water, let stand for ± 15 minutes. If you have washed then cut into pieces
  • 2. Prepare the tempeh then cut into cubes to size according to taste. When it's done fry it until it's brown and cooked
  • 3. For the Bamer, the Baput and the chillies are thin
  • 4. Reduce the oil after frying the tempeh. Saute Bamer Baput first until fragrant. If it is fragrant, add the lime leaves and bay leaf, stir-fry again until the leaves wilt then add the chilies. Saute until wilted.
  • 5. Add in the tempeh, water, squid, chicken broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce and stir until the water shrinks a little
  • 6. Finally, add the fried Pete for a while.
  • Sauteed tempeh, salted squid is ready to be served
