Ingredients

  • 500 gr medium size prawns, shelled
  • 500 gr squid, cut into 2
  • 1 cob of corn, cut into pieces, boiled
  • 1 onion, cut into 2
  • 6 lime leaves
  • 1 segment of ginger, crushed
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 300 ml water
  • Oil for frying
  • To taste sugar, mushroom broth and salt

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce

Ground spices

  • 8 cloves of red onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 6 curly red chilies
  • 4 red chilies

How to make

  • 1. Wash the prawns and squid thoroughly, rub them with lime, let stand 15 minutes, then wash again
  • 2. Saute ground spices, lime leaves, ginger and onions until cooked
  • 3. Add squid and shrimp, cook until it changes color, add corn
  • 4. Add water, add sugar, broth powder and salt
  • 5. Cook until the prawns and squid are cooked, and the sauce thickens, adjust the taste, turn off the heat
  • 6. Shrimp and squid in Padang sauce are ready to be served
