Rice Ingredients

  • 3 cups of rice
  • 65 ml instant coconut milk
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 lemongrass stalk, crushed
  • 1 tsp broth powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Enough water
  • 2 bunches of basil leaves
  • Whole cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 ounce anchovies, fried until crisp
  • Enough banana leaves, ferocious in the stove so that it wilts and is easy to shape
  • Clean enough toothpicks

Chicken Suir Ingredients

  • 300 gr chicken breast
  • 7 red chilies
  • 10 red chilies
  • 7 red onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Powdered broth to taste
  • Sugar to taste

How to make

  • 1. Wash the rice, pour enough water, add salt, powdered broth, coconut milk, bay leaf, lemongrass, cook until cooked like normal rice, when it is cooked, add the anchovies, mix well, set aside.
  • 2. Boil the chicken until tender, when it is cold, set aside.
  • 3. Puree the onion, garlic, red chilies, cayenne pepper, saute until fragrant, add the chicken broth, add the powdered broth, sugar, stir until well mixed, taste test. Set aside.
  • 4. Take a large banana leaf and then stack it with a small banana leaf, put 1 full spoonful of rice/as much as you like on top, add shredded chicken, cayenne pepper, basil leaves, knead and roll, then wrap the ends with a clean toothpick.
