ingredient

  • – 1/2 kg beef, cut according to taste
  • – 1 kg beef ribs
  • – 3 imported carrots, sliced ​​round
  • – 2 potatoes, cut into 4
  • – 100 grams of red beans, soaked for 2 hours
  • – 1 1/2 L of broth
  • – celery & spring onions, to taste
  • – 2 tomatoes, sliced ​​lengthwise
  • – 3 cloves

Ground spices

  • – 5 cloves of white bw
  • – 3 cloves of red bw
  • – 3/4 grated nutmeg (there are many tastes, I really like the nutmeg spice)
  • - salt, sugar and pepper, to taste

How to make

  • - Boil ribs, meat and cloves with 2.5 liters of water until 3/4 tender. After that, set aside 1 1/2 L of water for the soup stock (I boiled it in a pressure cooker)
  • - heat a little oil, saute ground spices, until fragrant. set aside
  • - Boil the meat and ribs with broth, add red beans, carrots, potatoes and stir-fry spices. Cook until vegetables and red beans are tender. Just before turning off the heat, add the chopped tomatoes, stir and cook for a while. Taste test. Turn off the fire. Sprinkle sliced ​​scallions & celery
  • - Pour the soup into a bowl, sprinkle with fried shallots. Serve with lime and boiled chili sauce
